STAUFF desiccant breathers: the range for any application
Who benefits from the expanded STAUFF desiccant breather range?
STAUFF supports manufacturers, owners and service providers across all industries in the international hydraulic market. Desiccant breathers ensure increased availability of hydraulically driven machines and systems while reducing the maintenance effort. The requirements for hydraulic systems have become increasingly complex and differentiated in recent years. With the expanded range, an optimum solution can be found for any application.
Why are there three series?
The dehumidification capacity is the same across the different series. The design of the assemblies, however, takes into account the different areas of application and requirements. Products from the SDB series are particularly sturdy and robust for heavy-duty applications. The SDBL series is the all-round product and flexible multi-talent: compact, with a low height, many adaptation options and screw-in accessories, such as inserts for oil separation. The range is supplemented by the SVDB: simple design, cost-effective and easy to replace – dispose of the old part, screw on the new one.
Which desiccants are available?
75 % molecular sieve and 25 % silica gel are used as a standard. But there is generally also an option of varying the material ratio individually or using special materials. Active charcoal, for example, can be added to minimise odours or to reliably separate oil mist. There are many options here.
How do I find the right product for my application?
There are only a few parameters that have to be considered. STAUFF ensures that even users who are not very familiar with this topic can find the optimum solution. We only need some basic information to recommend a series. Knowing the displaced air volume allows us to choose the right size for the breather. The STAUFF customer advisers are available to help with this at any time.
