South Westphalia remains the leading industrial location in North Rhine-Westphalia and is one of the top 4 industrial regions in Germany. Since 2013, the three South Westphalian Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Arnsberg, Hagen and Siegen have been documenting technological excellence and outstanding achievements on the global market with the "Hidden Champion in South Westphalia" seal.
STAUFF honoured once again
Last Friday, the meeting of world market leaders from the South Westphalia region took place in Arnsberg.
As part of this event, STAUFF was once again recognised as the global market leader for fastening solutions for pipes, tubes and hoses in hydraulics by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Hagen, Arnsberg and Siegen after 2018 and is therefore entitled to bear the official "Hidden Champion in South Westphalia" seal.
This confirmation was based on a careful and independent examination of the figures and facts provided by STAUFF on the global market, on market competitors and on its own position by the three Chambers of Commerce and Industry involved.
STAUFF thus continues to belong to the exclusive circle of now 165 companies from the South Westphalia region that have been identified as leading manufacturers or providers in a specific area.
Small and medium-sized enterprises as the backbone of the German economy
"We are proud of the 165 South Westphalian hidden champions. They stand for first-class performance and quality standards as well as a high degree of specialisation. For decades, they have continuously impressed us with their ability to innovate and their willingness to adapt to change processes, even in times of crisis. The global market leaders in South Westphalia, which have often been family-run for several generations, live the transformation of tradition," emphasised Ralf Stoffels, President of the SIHK (South Westphalian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). A decisive key to the success of the world market leaders is also a high willingness to invest in new technologies and products, but especially in the training and further education of their employees.
By the way: The MENSHEN Group based in Finnentrop, a sister company of STAUFF, was also honoured as the world market leader in the field of (special) chemical and bag closures.
