The VTH Verband Technischer Handel e.V. represents around 230 specialised wholesalers and is an important player in the technical trade sector. The association promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience and supports its members through various initiatives and programmes.

The VTH's „Schlauch-, Armaturen- und Fluidtechnik“ (Hose, Fittings and Fluid Technology) specialist group comprises 70 member companies and organises an annual general meeting. This specialist group is particularly active in training and further training and has developed a comprehensive further training concept in cooperation with the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI).

The manufacture and placing on the market of hose assemblies involves a great deal of responsibility. In order to fulfil this responsibility, comprehensive training of employees in the technical trade is essential. The „Aus- und Weiterbildung“ (Training and further education) working group of the „Schlauch-, Armaturen- und Fluidtechnik“ (Hose, Fittings and Fluid Technology) specialist group therefore offers a training course that covers all the essential basics for the use of hose lines and their components.

On 4 November, we welcomed the  “Hydraulik-Schlauchleitungen” (Hydraulic hose lines) working group of the VTH „Schlauch-, Armaturen- und Fluidtechnik“ (Hose, Fittings and Fluid Technology) specialist group to our Ehrenfeld plant in Werdohl. The members of the working group were warmly welcomed and were given a company presentation and a tour of the production facilities. The visitors were particularly interested in the production of tube fittings, which is carried out with a high degree of automation.

We were able to offer exciting insights into our production and organisation. According to members of the VTH, the company tour was a real highlight: you could feel our passion for technology and quality at every station, so we took the opportunity to present ourselves not only as a leading supplier of pipe components and systems, but also as a strong partner to the technical trade.

As Dr Dominik F. P. Joachim, Member of the Executive Board of the global STAUFF Group, emphasised, we want to continue to grow in Germany with diligence and the courage to invest, despite the adverse conditions. Helmut Ahrens, Spokesman of the Management Board of STAUFF Germany, emphasised how important technical trade is in this respect. This partnership enables us to develop innovative solutions and further strengthen our position as a leading supplier of cable components and systems.

The VTH specialist group's visit to us was a complete success and underlines the close cooperation between the association and our company. The technical trade is a large and very important sales channel for our components. We are therefore very pleased to be able to provide an insight into our production and to be able to exchange ideas with the members of the VTH.
