In this recurring series in the STAUFF Blog, we would like to introduce you to selected STAUFF Line System partners from the global network and their fields of activity. This series kicks off with the company United Fluid Power.
United Fluid Power was formed at the start of 2008, identifying a market need for high quality fluid power services and support. In this short time the company has achieved outstanding growth in a very specialised field.
In 2009, the company signed distribution contracts with STAUFF Australia (and other major manufacturers in the hydraulics and fluid power industry). It later became part of the nation-wide network of STAUFF Authorised Stockists (SAS). Eventually, the SAS Programme was transferred into the current SLSP Programme, and United Fluid Power became the first Australian STAUFF Line System Partner in 2021.
Today, the company has over 40 employees and is headquartered in Yangebup, a southern suburb of Perth, and operates a second facility in Bunbury, Western Australia.
In 2021, United Fluid Power was acquired by Pressure Dynamics, an industry-leading provider of engineering and maintenance solutions.
Within a growing industry United Fluid Power provides customer service and support to a wide range of industries, including mining, oil and gas, manufacture, marine offshore, construction and heavy industry. The experienced and dedicated staff aim to provide tailored options to all customers and strive to offer the best service and advice. This means total support from selecting the right components for the job, sales, servicing and even through to the maintenance of customers’ equipment.
United Fluid Power – Products and Services
For almost 15 years, United Fluid Power has been an authorised stockist and re-seller for hydraulic and fluid power port-to-port components provided by STAUFF and other world leading hydraulic brands.
United Fluid Power also provides a single source of consultancy on system design, system improvement, project management, manufacturing, and installation, paired with an excellent aftermarket service of hydraulic systems and components. With two workshops and a highly skilled team of hydraulic technicians with fully equipped service vehicles, United Fluid Power is well positioned to look after all their existing and future clients needs.
United Fluid Power – Project Spotlight
For a project in Western Australia, United Fluid Power recently manufactured a total of 20+ hydraulic power units (HPUs) incorporating a comprehensive range of hydraulic and fluid power port-to-port components provided by STAUFF: Level Gauges, Desiccant Breathers, Pessure Filters, Return-Line Filters, Ball Valves, Tube Connectors, Test Points, Pressure Gauges and more.
As a special design feature, the top loader-style STAUFF pressure filter housings have been equipped with a drain valve and are mounted upside down. This feature does not only make the filter element replacement a much cleaner process, it also allows the filter change to be ergonomically friendly for the technicians servicing the equipment. This follow’s United Fluid Power's company vision of making customer's systems more reliable and efficient to increase productivity.
