Short Description of this Episode
In this episode of the miniseries Increasing Agricultural Safety, you will find out more about the benefits of efficient vibration and noise damping of pipes, tubes and hoses in the hydraulics of agricultural machinery and equipment.
Avoiding vibration and noise pollution in hydraulic systems is a priority in the agricultural industry. With large complex equipment running around the clock in tough environments it is important to mitigate noise and increase productivity and safety. The STAUFF NRC Clamps, or the Noise Reduction Clamps, for tubes, pipes, and hoses are designed with this in mind. The STAUFF NRC Clamp takes the design of the Original STAUFF Standard Series Clamp Body and reinvents the clamp insert. The clamp insert itself has little contact between the tube or pipe and the clamp body, which reduces noise and vibration that pollutes the environment and creates excess wear and tear on the hydraulic system. STAUFF NRC-H Clamps are designed exclusively for hoses. This clamp securely holds hoses in places, while allowing changes in hose diameter to change, without restricting the function of the clamp. The insert itself, much like the NRC Clamp for tubes and pipes, has minimal contact with the clamp body, which significantly reduces noise and vibrations to damage the system and the environment.
